We manage the unwieldy application process.
We help ensure you never miss anything across all four years of high school. How? Emails, session notes, clear progress timelines, timely webinars, and more support than you'll know what to do with.
Our Approach to Process Organization & Communication
One of the most common questions we get from parents is: Can my kid be finished with the entire college process by the time school starts?
The answer is simple: No.
Crafting college applications that truly maximize a student’s admissions ceiling takes time, planning, and a steady commitment from July to December. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. We don’t believe in rushing to finish “just any” applications—we believe in putting together the best ones.
Because at the end of the day, the difference between a decent application and an exceptional one is measured in planning, persistence, and the right support system.
Executive Planning & Staying on Track
The college admissions process is full of deadlines, stress, and endless to-do lists. It’s not just about writing essays and filling out forms—it’s about keeping morale high and making consistent, meaningful progress week after week.
We know how overwhelming this can be, which is why our operations are designed to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
We put a huge amount of planning into every detail. Every session with a student ends with session notes that recap what we discussed, outline homework assignments, and share tailored resources. These notes aren’t just summaries; they’re strategic roadmaps that keep the process moving forward.
Proactive, Transparent Communication
Our founder sends out countless emails to our entire community of parents. We’re talking reminders about crucial deadlines, invitations to exclusive webinars and group sessions, and “Nights Against Procrastination” events around key submission dates. We also send out links to resources and last-minute advice as soon as it becomes relevant.
These emails are designed to keep everyone—students and parents—on the same page, making sure no deadline sneaks up unnoticed and no opportunity is missed.
We also provide three in-depth progress reports throughout the process, in addition to the detailed notes from every session. These reports give parents a comprehensive view of where we are, what we need from you, and how your student is progressing. It’s all about forming a united front to support your child’s success.
Keeping Everyone Aligned
Our system is built to keep everything organized, transparent, and on track. We manage the big picture while keeping a close eye on the details. Because when it comes to college admissions, steady, well-coordinated progress is everything.
We’re not just helping your student fill out applications; we’re coaching them through a complex and high-stakes process—one plan, one essay, one milestone at a time.

"Couldn't be happier."
We’ve worked with Alex for four years and have had nothing but an amazing experience throughout. Our son did his applications with Alex and got into Brown, so we asked him to work with our daughter. In junior/senior year he helped my daughter build a school list and coached her through writing essays that were as amazing and personal as our son’s. She's now at Bowdoin. Couldn't be happier.

"Truly gifted writing coaches."
We hired Sierra Admissions to help my son research what he wanted to study in school. Alex helped him land an amazing research position and brought my husband and me up to speed on the admissions process. Alex has become a mentor to Ken. They know the college process in and out and are truly gifted writing coaches. We recommend Sierra Admissions to everyone.

"Helped me brainstorm an essay I loved."
I like writing but the college essays are so weird. I had never really written a personal essay but Alex broke it down and helped me brainstorm an essay I loved.
